  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Internal Control Lead at CWT Pte. Limited in Singapore. The Internal Control Lead will be responsible for overseeing internal control processes, identifying risks, and implementing control measures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency. The primary responsibilities are:

• Assist and provide advisory support on various business initiatives to meet regulatory and corporate requirements.

• Work with the business to design processes and controls relating to key regulatory or compliance focus areas, e.g., AML, etc.

• Work on remedial action to close gaps identified from regulatory authorities including MAS/ external and internal audit findings.

• Conduct regular quality assurance reviews to ensure the business adheres to relevant statutes, regulations, and guidelines.

• Monitor the business's mandatory regulatory reporting obligations by sending periodic reminders and performing follow-ups with the relevant departments to ensure compliance with all required reporting and communications within the stipulated timelines.

• Execute ad-hoc assignments as requested by the CGST Head.

Qualifications

• A university degree or diploma in accountancy/ business or equivalent is required.

• At least 6-8 years of experience in audit and compliance preferably relevant to the financial industry.

• Good understanding of regulations, business, and operations preferably in financial industry.

• Proactive and has reasonable analytical skills with high attention to detail.

• Good business acumen and ensure confidentiality.

• Able to work under pressure and independently or in a team.

• Good interpersonal and written/ spoken communication skills.

• Bilingual in English and Mandarin.
