Senior Manager (Centre of Excellence) Township

Work with senior management on the planning and execution of strategies to drive innovation, technical and service excellence

Liaise and coordinate regular updates across business units, corporate service units and external agencies on all township, property and facility management related matters

RESPONSIBILITIES

Development of Strategies

  • Assist in the development, and execution of Township and CoE strategies
  • Assist to establish strategic priorities and convert them to quantitative and actionable plans
  • Assist to define and track relevant KPIs to deliver the plans

Stakeholder Management

  • Promote the Company’s service values (Professionalism, Integrity and Care), high performance, continuous improvement, and commitment to quality across EM Group of Companies
  • Work with clients, external agencies, internal business units and corporate services units to align and execute strategic goals and plans

Research & Analytics

  • Research and identify emerging issues and challenges related to township, property & facility management.
  • Liaise and coordinate with Subject Matter Experts, Institute of Higher Learnings and other agencies to develop capabilities, identify projects, and innovations to address the issues and challenges

Other Duties

  • Perform other duties, assignments and projects as assigned by Senior Management

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent tertiary or professional qualifications in general / business management / facilities management / engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Candidate must demonstrate exceptional communication skills that will ensure clear conveyance of the business’s messages and a positive portrayal of the business in general, to Senior Management Team and key stakeholders
  • Possess an ability to communicate complex and technical messages in simple terms that different audiences can relate to
  • Possess strong research analytical, problem solving and good writing skills
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills in his/her interactions with internal and external stakeholders
  • A great problem solver, exceptional negotiation skills, being proactive and going beyond the call of duty, being an eager learner, willing to learn new market trends and to learn from others
