Dexian is looking for an L2 Application Support Engineer for a one-year extendable contract to support a project with a large bank. We are looking to hire ASAP. If you are interested, please apply with your updated resume.

The Role: The primary objective of the L2 Support Engineer role is to provide efficient application support for the Boomi platform and other applications, enhancing customer satisfaction through prompt issue resolution. This includes reducing escalations to Level 3 support, managing client production data migrations, and overseeing production database management. The L2 Support Engineer will be based in clients office and will be responsible for various management functions, including operations and availability, incident and problem management, change management, service request management, release and deployment management, capacity management, knowledge management, continual service improvement, and utility management.

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the Boomi platform, particularly Boomi Integrations, and will possess experience with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL. Proficiency in SQL for database query scripting is essential. Additionally, a solid understanding of Agile methodologies and AWS services is required. The candidate should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with an emphasis on technical writing. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of three years of experience in application or L2 support. Prior experience in application development, maintenance, support, and deployment will be advantageous.
