The incumbent will report to the Manager, Trading and will be responsible for driving the Healthcare / Groceries sales and profitability of the accounts under his/her care. He/she will support the Sales Team, work closely with business partners and internal departments in all aspects of the business to achieve excellent and consistent service standard for the business.

He/she will be responsible for generating weekly/monthly reports, analyse business performance, and ensure timely execution of business plans to maintain a competitive advantage to drive profitability growth. The candidate will support all business matters pertaining to sales, procurement, market shares, service levels and end-to-end stock management.

He/she should possess strong analytical skills, able to initiate and execute appropriate action plans to minimise any potential business disruptions.

Responsibilities

  • To achieve the Healthcare and Groceries revenue targets and business goals.
  • Support the Sales Team to drive the Healthcare and Groceries business
  • Responsible for both indoor and outdoor sales
  • New account penetrations for major local corporations/MNCs, develop new businesses, enlarge our network and customer base
  • Prepare and provide quotation and invoices to clients, ensure both topline sales and profitability are achieved for every transaction. Actively follow up to close the deals.
  • Liaison with customer service, operations and logistic team, if needed.
  • Identify key profit drivers, analyse variance, initiate corrective actions and establish controls, where necessary.
  • Monthly review and execute clearance of non-returnable, aged & delisted goods within the business.
  • Adhere to legal and compliance guidelines, risk management processes, corporate policies, internal audits, SOPs and discipline to maintain the company's legality and business ethics.
  • Ability to negotiate successful partnerships and shrew contractual agreements.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Economics or equivalent with minimum 2 years of experience in sales experience in the FMCG and/or Healthcare industry.
  • Highly collaborative team player with excellent influencing and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently, motivated, meticulous and results oriented.
  • Resourceful and problem solver.
  • Willing to challenge status quo and embrace changes.
