Job Description:

  • Develop and implement sustainability framework, strategies and priorities and establish goals in consultation with senior management and stakeholders
  • Ensure sustainability polices, strategies and priorities align with Sentosa’s long-term sustainability plan of achieving carbon-neutral by 2030
  • Work with various departments to incorporate sustainability practices and set conservation and environmental goals
  • Keep up to date with trends and industry best practices in sustainability
  • Provide commercial and technical analysis for the implementation of sustainability projects
  • Monitor and evaluate projects and processes to seek improvements in environmental impact regulation compliance
  • Implement and monitor sustainability initiatives / projects across MFLG and conduct regular stakeholder engagement meeting to ensure objectives are met
  • Develop and operationalize sustainability reporting, including creating dashboards, data collection, data analysis etc
  • Manage and track corporate sustainability goals and metrics, analyze data and produce regular reports
  • Responsible for sustainability reporting by providing relevant write-ups and data.
  • Seek and obtain 3rd party funding from public and private sector

Requirements:

  • Degree in the area of sustainability or environmental management / science or equivalent
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience relating to sustainability / environmental management
  • Good knowledge of key sustainability standards and frameworks (e.g. GRI, UN SDG, TCFD).
  • Proficient in comprehensive sustainability reporting in accordance with Global Reporting Initiatives (GRI) guidelines
  • Good understanding of BCA Green Mark and PUB Water Efficiency Management Plan
  • Certified Energy Manger, Green Mark Accredited Professional and/or Water Efficiency Manager will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge with ISO14001 requirements and prior auditing experience will be an added advantage
  • Hands-on and proactive attitude with focus on objectives and results
  • Reliable and independent working attitude
  • Strong analytics and project management skills to track progress and reporting across MFLG
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
