Job Overview:

As a Regional Solution Engineer - APAC, you will play a key role in the presales process, supporting the sales team and providing technical expertise to clients in the fintech, e-commerce, payments, and financial services industries. You will engage directly with customers to understand their technical needs, design tailored solutions, and provide guidance on implementing API solutions. A strong foundation in web or mobile development, along with experience in various programming and scripting languages, is essential. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Mandarin and possess a deep technical understanding, paired with excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary technical expert during the presales process, collaborating closely with the sales team to understand client needs and craft technical solutions.
  • Deliver detailed technical presentations, product demos, and proof-of-concept (POC) engagements to prospective clients across the APAC region.
  • Provide in-depth technical support for fintech, e-commerce, payment, and financial services (FSI) industries.
  • Work with API solutions, ensuring seamless integration with clients’ systems and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development and support, to ensure client satisfaction and successful implementations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Provide input into product enhancements based on client feedback and market trends.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in presales or solution engineering, preferably within the fintech, e-commerce, payments, or financial services industries.
  • Strong technical foundation, with hands-on experience in web or mobile development, coupled with proficiency in a variety of programming and scripting languages like Java, Objective-C, .NET, Swift, XML, PHP etc.
  • Deep understanding of API architecture and experience working with API-driven solutions.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with clients in key markets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and travel as needed within the APAC region.
