Location: Remote/Hybird, Singapore

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ecosystem Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive BD strategy to drive ecosystem growth for SatLayer. Prospect, research, evaluate, develop, negotiate, execute and manage relevant ecosystem partnerships.
  • TVL Growth: Develop and execute programs to drive TVL to SatLayer; design, launch, and manage EVM-based points programs.
  • BD Initiatives & Pipeline: Conceptualize, implement and manage long- and short-term BD initiatives across all SatLayer areas of business, using data, creativity and market intelligence. Design streamline, effective processes for sourcing, developing and closing deals.
  • Ongoing Relationships: Build deep awareness of and relationships with prospective relevant BTC “whales”, AVS and other L2 and BTC ecosystem players.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with other Growth team members to drive growth more broadly and on cross-functional projects, particular in marketing and community/social media growth.
  • Industry Tracking: Keep abreast of rapidly-changing ecosystem landscape, technologies and trends and pivot business development approach rapidly as needed.
  • Management: Build a growing business development team with effective management and processes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (with at least 1-2 years) in business development in the DeFi ecosystem, closing deals and locking up TVL.
  • Strong personal BTC and DeFi networks.
  • Well-honed and demonstrated skills in BD processes and closing deals.
  • Basic technical fluency; you can explain, at a high level, various technical challenges and answer some technical questions around DeFi.
  • Natural networker, and effective communicator.
  • Highly analytical in quantitative and verbal capacities.
  • Excellent writing and speaking skills.
  • Excited about taking on new challenges and taking responsibility for goals.
