Job Summary:

The HR Generalist will manage the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department, including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, and enforcing company policies and practices. This role is vital in maintaining and enhancing the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Staffing:

  • Coordinate and conduct the recruitment and selection process for new employees.
  • Develop job descriptions, post job advertisements, screen resumes, and conduct interviews.
  • Conduct reference checks and extend job offers.

Employee Onboarding and Offboarding:

  • Conduct new employee orientations to ensure employees gain an understanding of company policies and procedures.
  • Manage the offboarding process, including exit interviews and necessary documentation.

Develop and Implement Engagement Strategies:

  • Design and execute employee engagement strategies that align with the company’s goals and culture.
  • Conduct regular assessments to gauge employee engagement levels and identify areas for improvement

Performance Management:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems.
  • Support managers in conducting performance appraisals and providing feedback.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate employee training and development programs.

HR Administration:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Prepare HR reports and metrics for management review.
  • Manage HR projects and initiatives as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
  • Thorough knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Able to commit to full 6 months contract period
