Job Description:

The R&D Design Engineer / Senior Engineer, leads the development and innovation of new products or systems through advanced research and design. This role blends creativity and technical expertise to conceptualize, design, and refine products, ensuring they meet market needs and technical specifications. The engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and industry standards alignment. Responsibilities include creating detailed design documents, prototypes, and testing methodologies, while staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends. Strong engineering principles, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines are essential.

Remarkable impacts that you will make:

Trial Production and Design: Manage customer data, implement DRC, apply design FMEA, execute DFM, create and secure product specification drawings, develop design/manufacturing data, generate tool data, define product specs, and review prototype results.

SOP and Operation: Develop, standardize, and validate input/design guidelines, operation flow procedures, and compensation rules.

Roadmap: Conduct surveys on technology trends and develop/maintain a technology roadmap.

Customer Response: Serve as the primary contact for customer technical inquiries.

Infrastructure

Management: Manage CAD/CAM/CAE tools, design machines, design servers, and data transfer systems.

The successful candidate should possess the following:

Professional Qualifications: Diploma or equivalent; semiconductor experience preferred.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills: Knowledge of semiconductors, CAD/CAM/CAE specifications, and preferred experience with measurement tools and substrate manufacturing.

Competencies: Detail-oriented, with project management skills and the ability to interpret customer needs.

Attributes: Excellent communication, global mindset, and strong ethical standards.
