Systems Engineer - Network Security Operations (Central Infra - Systems)

Position Overview

This role will oversee the day-to-day opertaions of the organizations network and security infrastructure. This role involves ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation that supports core organizational functions. This role will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing security measures to protect the organization's systems, network and data.

Role & Responsibilities

• Technical and hands-on engineer who have built, developed, or managed enterprise-level and mission-critical infrastructure.
• Have extensive and hands-on experience in working with Network Security-related technologies.
• Have good knowledge developing Network Security Processes.
• Have good knowledge working with Firewall Policy Management Tools (such as Algosec) and integrating it with Automation and ITSM Tools.
• Have good knowledge in working with programming and scripting languages.
• Have working knowledge in System & Network-related technologies.
• Have working knowledge in infrastructure automation.
• Possess a keen and curious mindset in discovering new and emerging technologies.
  
  
  

What You Will Work On

• Develop and maintain Network Security tools, practices and processes, coordinate security measures to protect the organization’s network infrastructure.
• Work with a team of engineers to develop integrations between Firewall Policy Management, Automation and ITSM Tools.
• Develop and maintain processes and practices that drives towards incorporating best practices, improving operations hygiene and Standardization of Firewall Processes.
• Collaborate with Automation Team to develop new capabilities, improve integration between systems, improve efficiency and user experience.
• Provide regular reports and updates to Stakeholders.
• Provide coaching and guidance to junior engineers.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Enterprise-level infrastructure environment.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Network Security-related technologies.
• Minimum of 1 years of experience working with Algosec or similar tool.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with System or Network-related technologies.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in programming and scripting.
• Strong troubleshooting and pattern analysis skills.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Able to work well in a team dynamics.
• Prior experience leading a team would be an advantage.
