Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Associate to manage both on-trade and off-trade channels for a premium gin brand in Singapore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving brand visibility, expanding market presence, and increasing sales across bars, restaurants, retail stores, and supermarkets. Prior experience in the spirits or FMCG industry will be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive volume, increase market share, and achieve revenue targets across both on-trade (bars, restaurants, hotels) and off-trade (supermarkets, retail stores) channels.

• Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including distributors, retailers, and on-trade partners, ensuring optimal stock levels, brand visibility, and promotional support.

• Brand Activation: Coordinate and execute brand activations, promotions, tastings, and events at on-trade and off-trade locations to increase brand awareness and engage customers.

• Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to identify opportunities for growth and optimize sales strategies.

• Trade Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure seamless execution of marketing campaigns, POS material distribution, and in-store merchandising to drive product visibility.

• Negotiation & Contracts: Lead negotiations with on-trade and off-trade partners, securing premium shelf space, menu listings, and promotional opportunities to enhance brand positioning.

• Reporting & Analysis: Track and report on sales performance, stock levels, and market feedback, providing insights to management for decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

• 2-4 years of experience in sales, preferably in the alcohol beverage industry or FMCG, with a strong understanding of on-trade and off-trade dynamics. Prior experience in the spirits industry will be a plus.

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

• Strong negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently, be proactive, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

• Passion for the spirits industry, with a deep understanding of gin as a category.

• Familiarity with the Singapore market and regulatory requirements related to alcohol sales.
