Manager Premise Security

Job Description

The successful candidate will join the Security Department within Safety, Security and Quality Division. He/ She will provide professional oversight in Premises Security in Singapore, ensuring secure operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish the framework and procedures for Aviation and Premises security operations of SIA premises.
• Develop and execute a systematic access control policy that governs all SIA premises in Singapore.
• Engage internal stakeholders to understand their unique requirements and support them with a tailored access control policy.
• Procure and manage security systems that will achieve Business Units’ (BUs) requirements, ensuring that SIA is compliant with regulatory requirements for premise security.
• Manage outsourced security detachment of security officers.
• Support projects for new properties and facilities.
• Support special events with development of security plans and supervision.
• Deal with security incidents and provide security advice to BUs and provide support in incident management.
• Continuously evaluate requirements and optimise resources to use technology.
  
  

Requirements

• Degree in any discipline.
• At least 8 years’ experience in premise security management, facilities, or procurement experience, including at least 2 years of management experience in leading a team of security professionals.
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills with experience in extensive engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
• This is a highly operational role which requires flexibility and adaptability for incident management in a rapid and evolving work environment.
