What we need:

Reporting to Senior Vice President, Construction & Operations, this role will develop & implement the following policies, programs and procedures consistently across the Data Centers, manage the Data Centers Facility Operations to ensure service uptime and provide support to enable Customer Sales.This positions is located in Singapore.

Key responsibilities:

  • Capacity Management, Security & Certification ProgramsManage Data Center Capacity & inventory reporting & management reports. Implement certification programs e.g. ISO 27001, 14001, 45001, PCI-DSS, …including DC Energy improvement programs e.g. SS50001, Green Mark for Data Center. Implement Security Operations & vendor diversity management.
  • Data Center Maintenance & Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) Improvement programDevelop & implement standard maintenance program. Implement standard approach to track data center PUE & reporting and improvement program. Support the data center operations in risk analysis, incident management & infrastructure replacement activities. Support ESG reports coordination.
  • BMS & Branch Circuit Monitoring (BCM)Implement DE standards for BMS points for infrastructure, architecture & reporting capabilities. Enable customer branch circuit data extraction for central monitoring and reporting
  • Customer Support & ProvisioningProvide support to Sales Engineering for potential customers & provide technical solution. Implement consistent provisioning process for customer orders & system updates.
  • Regional Operations SupportImplement regional operations support for network operations, service desk and provide incident management escalation / crisis management support.
  • Actively champion and increase awareness of their responsibility to occupational health & safety in the workplace, information security management, environmental management systems; and comply with all legal regulatory requirements of the organization.

The successful candidate:

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Facility Management or Data Center Operations
  • 12+ years experience in data center facility operations & management.
  • Good communication, interpersonal skills and ability to manage across cultural / language barriers
  • Leadership skills and ability to project soft power
  • Good project management and problem solving skills
  • Experience in Certification programs
  • Self-motivated, positive and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Fluent English, Mandarin and additional Asian language will be an advantage
