Responsibilities

  • Good team player with the ability to work independently and effectively in a diverse environment.
  • To source for new businesses by making sales calls, visiting customers & servicing existing clients.
  • Have existing own client database.
  • Swift response to customers, shipment enquiries & freight quotation.
  • Responsible for maintaining and developing new business with existing customers.
  • Procurement of rates from overseas offices, agents and approved local vendors.
  • Preparation of quotations and participation of RFQ, tender bids when required.
  • Achieving the annual sales target.
  • Reporting to the Head of Sales and working closely with on commercial activities and business development.
  • Submission of CRM reports.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain
  • Minimum 1 years of working experience in freight forwarding (Air & Ocean)
  • Preferably good knowledge in both Freight operations and sales processes.
  • Strong customer service, effective communication/presentation skills and good business analytical skills.
