Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Cost Specialist to join our team. This role involves detailed cost analysis, reporting, and risk management across various infrastructure projects and infrastructure domain-specific expenses (covering both Opex items and Capex items). The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring cost efficiency, compliance, accurate reporting and projection, as well as risk mitigation in all related activities.

This role involves detailed cost analysis, reporting, and risk management across various infrastructure projects and infrastructure domain-specific expenses (covering both Opex items and Capex items). The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring cost efficiency, compliance, accurate reporting and projection, as well as risk mitigation in all related activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Analysis: Conduct comprehensive cost analysis on infrastructure projects, and infrastructure domain-specific expenses, including but not limited to data center, cloud, connectivity, communication service, servers, networks related costs. Develop and review should-cost models, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
- Reporting: Create and present detailed cost reports, dashboards, and summaries for management, highlighting key metrics, trends, and insights.
- Risk Management & Procurement Strategy: Identify, assess, and manage internal control risks throughout the procurement and infrastructure lifecycle. Develop and implement procurement strategies that optimize costs and mitigate risks, ensuring alignment with the organization’s objectives.
- Contract Management: Proactively ensure that contractual agreements are fully aligned with strategic procurement decisions and incorporate necessary adjustments for risk mitigation. Collaborate closely with the legal department to develop, review, and refine contracts and standard service agreements, ensuring they meet organizational objectives and compliance requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Business Users, BI, Finance, Legal teams and domain specialists, to ensure cost efficiency, budget adherence, and risk management.
- Market & Trend Analysis: Conduct market research and benchmarking to inform procurement strategies and ensure competitive pricing.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for system and process enhancements to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting efficiency. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for system and process enhancements to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting efficiency.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in cost analysis, procurement, or infrastructure project management, with a focus on risk control and business presentations.
- Skills: Familiar with Power BI and strong in presentation skills. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in cost estimation tools, excellent communication, and the ability to present complex data clearly and concisely. Familiarity with procurement processes and compliance-related experience is a plus.
- Language: Proficiency in both English and Mandarin due to regional coverage.
