We are looking for a Facilitator and innovative Workshop Lead for Operation and Technology Roadmap (OTR) Programme in A*STAR.

OTR Programme is about long-term strategy and business outcomes. We design a series of planning workshops that bring the right people together, giving them the mindset and foresight tools to think differently about their future and technology use.

Your Key Responsibilities: -

  • Using sound adult learning principles to design and facilitate interactive and impactful in-person/virtual workshop for 10-50 people with the OTR framework.
  • Plan and manage multiple OTR projects and engagements at any one time.
  • Ensure a high-quality seamless experience that engages all participants.
  • Promote visibility, awareness, and credibility for OTR.
  • Develop the capabilities in the broader organization in facilitation, roadmapping and planning, including galvanising best practices in strategic planning methodologies for corporate or national application.

Skills and Attributes for Success:-

  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills (and enthusiasm for investigating and learning new facilitation techniques, as well as conflict management during facilitation).
  • Experience in using interactive methods for adult learning and knowledge management such as Appreciative Inquiry, World Cafe, Fishbowl, etc. are required.
  • Experience in working directly with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong project management and report writing skills.
  • Ability to understand and integrate different stakeholders' objectives and use creative problem-solving and facilitation skills to translate objectives into engaging workshops.
  • Resourcefulness in gathering information or resources for projects.

Tools that the candidate will demonstrate a capability including but not limited to:

  • Productivity tools (familiarity with MSOffice and MS Project tools is mandatory).
  • Digital collaboration tools (e.g. MURAL, Zoom, MS Teams).
  • Significant experience using technology options for designing and facilitating learning i.e. webinars, podcasts, online simulations etc.

To qualify, candidates must have:

  • At least five years of progressively responsible professional experience in knowledge management, with a focus on facilitating workshops and meetings for local companies and government organizations.
  • Have a primary degree and relevant adult learning qualification.
