As a Cash Operation Associate within the Wholesale Payment Operations team, you will help the firm grow its business in a responsible way by using your expertise in Payment Cash Operations, anticipating new products in the market and using your expert judgement to solve real-world issues that impact our company, customers and communities, keeping our firm's payment processes resilient.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support management in managing and providing oversight of Cash Operations in Singapore
  • Meet client deliverables with a high level of timeliness and accuracy.
  • Work with operations manager on local initiatives to drive efficiencies, productivity and process improvements
  • Regular reviews of procedures assuring new processes are documented
  • Ensure all operation procedures are in compliance with industry and legal regulatory rules and guidelines both locally and globally
  • Coordinate with local regulators and internal stakeholder on Industry testing
  • Build good relationship with business partners and stakeholders
  • Ensure sufficient internal controls and procedures to minimize risk
  • Work with external and internal audits/regulatory on reviews/inspection

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience with payments/Cash operations in the financial services industry
  • Solid knowledge of SWIFT payments and deep understanding on payment channels SWIFT / MEPS /GIRO /FAST including regulatory requirement, best practices and industry initiatives
  • Strong Interpersonal skills to be able to communicate internally & externally and at all levels
  • Proven ability to build strong business relationships within the site and across the business
  • A proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow through
  • Ability to use creative problem solving techniques to solve business issues
  • Strong PC, project management, and analytical skills
  • Experience of working / partnering with Risk, Audit and Compliance to ensure that the overall organizational objectives are met
  • Ability to escalate issues as appropriate
  • A good team player and be able to work with functional partners/stakeholders to deliver results
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance or related discipline.
