Key Responsibilities

  • Lead specific category research within the affluent consumer market largely within the area of qantitatve research
  • Conduct workshops and deliver strategic recommendations
  • Work as a partner to clients for their business problems
  • Leverage data suite and tools to generate winning ideas and thought leadership
  • Ensure high-quality execution and delivery on time
  • Inspire and motivate team members while maintaining simplicity

As the ideal candidate for the Consumer Insights Director role, you bring a wealth of experience from your 10+ years as a planner or insights professional. Your education background in Market Research, Statistics, Economics, Industrial Engineering or Applied Mathematics has equipped you with the skills necessary to leverage consumer insights into successful activities. Your ability to lead strategic discussions with cross-functional teams sets you apart. You possess analytical rigour and are comfortable working with data. Your expertise in modern theories of brand growth and decline is complemented by your proficiency in modelling tools such as trend analysis and optimisation.

Key Attributes

  • Bachelor's Degree in Market Research, Statistics, Economics, Industrial Engineering or Applied Mathematics (MBA preferred)
  • 10+ years experience as a planner or insights professional in a leading consumer goods company, Comms/Creative Agency or consumer research consultancy
  • Proven track record of leveraging consumer and shopper insights into successful activity
  • Ability to lead strategic discussions with cross-functional teams
  • Analytical rigour with a challenging outlook on new information
  • Expertise with modern theories of Brand growth and decline
  • Proficiency in modelling tools like trend analysis and optimization
