We are a Singapore-based subsidiary of a joint venture of TOPPAN Holdings Inc., a Japanese pioneer in printing technologies and a leading supplier of high-quality Flip Chip Ball Grid Array (FC-BGA) substrates and Broadcom Inc., a global technology leader specializing in semiconductor design, enterprise software, and security solutions.

We will be the first factory in Singapore to pioneer the manufacturing of high-end FC-BGA substrates used in cutting-edge semiconductor products such as network switches and artificial intelligence (AI)/machine learning (ML) devices.

Job Description:

The Manager, R&D Process oversees and optimizes manufacturing processes in R&D, manages production conditions, standardizes processes to improve yield and quality, sets production parameters, and evaluates materials and equipment. They ensure compliance with technical standards, implement cost-reduction strategies, and handle customer meetings while driving continuous process improvement to support innovation and high-quality standards.

Remarkable impacts that you will make:

  • Develop and execute production plans aligned with annual operating objectives.
  • Oversee FCBGA manufacturing conditions and standardization processes to ensure product quality and stability.
  • Implement process optimizations to enhance production quality and yield.
  • Manage and optimize production process conditions and equipment settings across various stages.
  • Lead productivity improvements, including standardization, procedure revisions, and automation.
  • Select and evaluate materials, set up and assess equipment, and drive cost reduction initiatives while responding to technical customer meetings.

The successful candidate should possess the following:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with at least 5 years in semiconductor processes or design.
  • Skills: Knowledge of semiconductors and customer needs, experience with CAD/CAM systems, familiarity with measurement, analysis, and reliability tools, and basic understanding of substrate manufacturing.
  • Competencies: Meticulous attention to detail, strong understanding of customer needs, proven project management skills, and ability to guide others on company policies and processes.
  • Attributes: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable working globally, and alignment with company values: integrity, passion, proactivity, and creativity.
