  • Lead and manage end-to-end bidding pursuit process. Be the overall-in-charge of RFP document development, preparation and to ensure high quality proposals are submitted on time.
  • To perform effective engagement with bid stakeholders, customers, overseas offices and partners for bid submission.
  • Work closely with Sales to understand customers' requirements and business environment in order to formulate bid win strategies and value proposition for proposals.
  • Manage and negotiate with partners and vendors' on commitments and commercial terms.
  • Ensure bid proposals adhere to finance and legal guidelines; Manage risk log and mitigation plan.
  • Work with Pricing Manager to ensure proposed pricing is in line with overall bid strategy, establish pricing structure that meets business/corporate target margins and have gained internal approvals for customer submission.
  • Perform bid presentation and contract negotiation with customers.
  • Response to customer contract and commercial matters
  • Provide bid guidance, career planning and development for Bid Managers within the team
  • Take on leadership in overseeing the operations and service of 'Bid Desk', a virtual Bid Management services, prioviding lite version of bid support for account team who are driving bids without Bid management assignment. Support includes, proposal templates, collaterals, corporate informations, product and organisation accreditations certification and write-up.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain up-to-date materials for external consumptions in proposals, presentations and commercial contracts.
  • Actively work with Directors and HOD in updating and enhancing departmental/ bid process in alignment to industry best practices.

Skills For Success

  • Degree in Business Studies, Engineering or Economics
  • Minimum 10 year working experiences with last 5 years as a people manager
  • Previous bid management experience in IT-related or telecommunication industry
  • Experienced in Project Management Skill, Demonstrating Contract Negotiation Skill and Financial Analysis and Modelling
  • Good to be certified in the following:
  • PMP Accreditation
  • APMP Accreditation
  • IACCM Accreditation
