Head of Compliance [Insurance]

Are you a seasoned compliance professional with a proven track record in the insurance sector? We are seeking a visionary Head of Compliance to lead our compliance function and drive regulatory excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Formulate and execute compliance strategies that aligns with the firm’s business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Keep abreast of evolving laws, regulations, and industry standards impacting the insurance broking sector. Ensure comprehensive compliance with all regulatory obligations, including insurance regulations, anti-money laundering (AML), data protection etc.
• Present detailed compliance reports to senior management in the group office. Investigate and resolve compliance issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Act as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies and external auditors. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure cohesive compliance efforts.
• Cultivate a culture of compliance and ethical behavior throughout the organization.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a compliance role within the insurance or financial services industry, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
• Hands-on working style with an extensive understanding of insurance industry regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices.
• Proven ability to manage compliance programs and teams with a strategic approach.
