About Our Client

Our client is a group of companies that specialise in F&B, Property, Hospitality, Entertainment etc. As they continue to grow horizontally, they are looking to hire an Assistant Manager in Talent Management and L&D to join them, reporting to the HR Manager.

Job Description

You will report to the HR Manager and your responsibilities include:

  • Partner with hiring managers to identify and meet talent needs.
  • Source and screen candidates via various recruitment channels.
  • Coordinate interviews and manage the offer and on-boarding process.
  • Conduct reference checks and background screenings.
  • Track and analyse HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, time-to-fill).
  • Support Learning & Development (L&D) activities, including training coordination.
  • Engage with government agencies for training support and grants.
  • Design and implement talent development programs.
  • Assist in compiling performance data and identifying employee development needs.
  • Develop internship and management trainee programs.
  • Drive employee engagement and well-being programs, promoting a positive culture.

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong communication, people management, and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in recruitment and talent management.
  • Familiarity with HR metrics and best practices.
