Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Prepare and update teaching materials and conduct lectures, tutorials and workshops.
- Set and mark assignments, quizzes, common tests, term projects and examinations related to the module(s) assigned (both PET and CET) and keep records of student attendance and grades.
- Support student learning and development through student consultations, mentoring and overseas trips.
- Assume committee portfolio and ad-hoc projects that support the school’s mission.
Pre-requisites:
- At least 3 years’ relevant work experience in the Hospitality industry and be familiar with the latest trends and technologies used in the industry.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct effective business communications in a professional setting.
- A nurturing mindset with passion for working with young adults and mature learners.
- Ability to use innovative teaching strategies to motivate learners.
- Competent to plan, develop and teach modules in Hospitality Management, Revenue Management and other areas including Sustainability and Tourism Marketing.
- Strong IT skills and proficiency in MS Office applications.
