As QC Laboratory Analyst, you are to perform various analyses to evaluate the quality of raw materials, in-process/intermediate materials, and finished products and ensure compliance with established standards. Ensure all laboratory activities are in accordance to HSE policies and legal compliance requirements.

As a QC Laboratory Analyst, you will be responsible for:


  • Testing of intermediate and finished products according to established standards and guidelines.
  • Communicating results and status of batches to the relevant parties, suggest adjustments and/or corrective actions to operations as needed.
  • Ensuring that incoming raw materials meet specifications.
  • Recording all test results in LIMS, preparing quality reports and generating COA for outgoing products.
  • Performing periodic calibration or verifications of laboratory instruments and equipment.
  • Preparing of test solutions and reagents for laboratory use. Ensuring all chemical reagents and flammable material are stored/monitored according to allowable storage quantity and storage condition requirements.
  • Retaining and storing of finished product samples according to shelf life/ retention period requirement. Conduct verification check and analysis if required.
  • Assisting Chemist on quality and safety audits, validation, qualification and change control, failure analyses, corrective and preventive action response to nonconformity and/ or customer’s complaint.
  • Handling laboratory housekeeping, laboratory waste and ensure proper disposal according to environmental regulations.
  • Carrying out all required responsibilities safely as described in the standard operations manual and performing other related duties


To be successful in this role you will:


  • Have Diploma in a Science Discipline (chemistry content) or Associate Degree with 3+ year experience
  • Have the ability to run appropriate tests with solid understanding of laboratory test equipment and proficiency with lab software (LIMS, SAP)
  • Have good problem-solving, critical thinking, RCA/ analytical skills
  • Have good working knowledge of various mathematical concepts (including fractions, ratios, and proportions)
  • Have good vision abilities
  • Have demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Have demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret data/ information
  • Have the ability to lift and/or move up to 10-20 kilograms occasionally
