My client is seeking a Senior FP&A Specialist with experience in the renewable energy sector to join their team.
This role is crucial for driving financial performance by supporting strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making processes.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial modeling, analysis, and reporting.
Salary: Up to $11,500 | Office Location: Central
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Planning & Forecasting-
o Lead the annual budgeting process, including long-term financial planning, for renewable energy projects.
o Prepare accurate and timely financial forecasts for the business unit.
o Analyze financial results, including variance analysis, to highlight key trends and business drivers.
• Financial Modeling & Analysis-
o Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business decisions related to renewable energy projects, including cost-benefit analysis, ROI calculations, and scenario planning.
• Reporting & Performance Management-
o Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing analysis of key metrics and operational performance.
o Support the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) for the renewable energy business, monitoring and reporting on performance against targets.
• Stakeholder Collaboration-
o Work closely with project management, operations, and engineering teams to assess financial impacts of project developments, operational changes, and market trends.
o Support senior management with financial presentations, strategic analysis, and ad-hoc reporting as needed.
• Market Research & Risk Assessment-
o Conduct market research and analyze industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive landscapes to forecast future financial performance.
o Assess financial risks associated with renewable energy investments and projects, proposing mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field;
• 3-5+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, within the energy or renewable energy sector.
• Strong financial modeling skills, with experience in project finance and renewable energy financing structures (e.g., tax equity, PPA, etc.).
• Worked on overseas projects
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
