[General Support Center] Senior Finance Executive (A250407)

The Finance Executive will play a pivotal role in the finance department by ensuring accurate and efficient financial and management reporting in a timely manner, assisting in bookkeeping and month-end closing process, tax filing and contributing to the overall financial health of the corporation.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the day-to-day accounting operations, including invoicing, payment approvals, and month-end closing processes.
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
• Provide support for other ad-hoc finance duties
• Prepare financial statements and ensure that they are accurate and in compliance with SFRS.
• Provide support during local and group annual audits, ensuring timely delivery of requested documents.
• Preparation of quarterly GST returns and tax filing in Malaysia if needed
• Provide support in the preparation of annual corporate income tax returns
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Stay up to date with accounting and tax regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance and recommend improvements when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Diploma in Accounting with at least 3 years working experience
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Good foundation in double entry accounting
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism in handling sensitive financial information.
