Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This role involves coordinating resources, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring that project deliverables meet the required quality standards. The Project Manager will lead cross-functional teams and drive project success through effective communication, problem-solving, and strategic planning.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation. Define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria. Identify and assess project risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of project activities and team performance. Ensure that project milestones are achieved on time and within budget. Track and report on project progress, making adjustments as necessary to stay on course.
- Lead and motivate project teams, including internal staff and external partners. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders. Resolve conflicts and address issues that may impact project performance.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and senior management. Communicate project status, changes, and risks to stakeholders in a timely and transparent manner. Gather and incorporate stakeholder feedback to ensure project alignment with their needs and expectations.
- Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to relevant regulations and guidelines. Conduct project reviews and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and lessons learned.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, and reports. Prepare and present project status reports, budgets, and performance metrics to stakeholders. Document and track project changes, issues, and resolutions.
- Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and reporting. Allocate and monitor project resources to ensure efficient and effective utilization.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in project management. Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and methodologies to enhance project management capabilities.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, or a related field with 3 years of experience in project management or a similar role
- Experience with the following is an added value:
- Security and Surveillance Systems
- Frontend, Sensors, Private Network, VPN, IT & Cyber Security, Device Management Software, and Backend
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects from inception to completion
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)
- Having own transportation or possess Class 3 license will be an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Independent and strong team player with good organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to lead and motivate teams effectively
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
Salary Range
- S$5,000 to S$6,500
