Wilhelmsen Ships Service is looking for a Head of Business Management - Asset Management
The Head of Business Management - Asset Management will be crucial to drive the development and implementation of major process improvement initiatives to meet present and future business requirements.
Responsible for developing and implementing processes to support business- and growth strategies for the Asset Management team. Furthermore, The Head of Business Management - Asset Management will be outlining business requirements to the wider organisation, such as the ERP, pricing teams and beyond to ensure appropriate implementation in our business applications.
The ideal candidate will lead the Business Process team and playing a key resource for the Asset Management organisation. Responsibility spans from assessing and documenting the impact of enacted changes, to implementation and finetuning of the changes. Taking ownership for all improvements and efficiency related initiatives suggested for the Asset Management team.
Who you will work with:
The Head of Business Management - Asset Management will reports to Business Director - Asset Management and will be part of the Asset Management leadership team. Since most processes span across multiple departments, efficient stakeholder management across the organization is considered essential. In addition to close collaboration with peers in the Asset Management team, the ideal candidate will work closely with the Business Solution teams (Welding & Gases and Refrigerants), Procurement, Operations and Sales/CS, as well as the ERP upgrade project, Solution Architects and the Enterprise Application team.

What you will work on:
- Team-lead responsibility for the Business Process Management team under the Asset Management organisation
- Providing day-to-day management and support for the Business Process Managers (BPMs)
- Developing and implementing strategies for the Asset Management organisation to meet present and future requirements
- Accountable for the cylinder team’s deliverables into the ERP upgrade project
- Responsible for initiating, developing and implementing agreed improvement initiatives
- Implementing new ways of working for the Asset Management team with the ambition of supporting sales growth and improving customer satisfaction
- Developing and maintaining KPI’s and measurement criteria to ensure an analytic driven organisation
- Developing efficient and standardised processes to enable automatization and digitizing Asset Management processes
- Participating in application development projects
- Responsible for agreed Asset Management initiatives and projects
- Ensuring that personnel in team are trained and have the sufficient skills to meet daily responsibilities and tasks
- Ensuring that personnel in the team operates in accordance with WSS values and ethics
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate on all levels
- Result and team oriented with the ability to work independently
- Excellent analytical skills, high accuracy and attention to details
- Able to meet deadlines through good time management and allocation of priorities
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration / Management or relevant
- Management experience from similar position preferably with the maritime industry
- Excellent management and leadership skills
- Fluent in English – both written and spoken
