Job Purpose

Reporting to the Manager, APAC Strategy, Analytics & Insights, this role will be part of Teleflex APAC SMCE (Strategy, Marketing & Commercial Excellence) function. Key responsibilities include:

  • Serve as a data analytics expert to support across business units and for specific projects, through synthesizing & analyzing multiple data sources and providing actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain strategic market database using internal and external data sources to determine market size and share, map out key opportunities, and track business performance.
  • Conduct market research for effective strategy development, based on industry insights, market trends, competitive intelligence, policy developments, customer behaviors, portfolio analysis, etc.
  • Analyze policy & macroeconomic insights and produce regular reports / newsletters.
  • Perform SFE analytics including APAC regional sales force effectiveness & sales incentive plan analysis to inform commercial model optimization and resource planning.
  • Support APAC region’s strategic planning preparation and Go-To-Market strategies development.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis, reports and project management support according to business needs.


Key Relationships / Interfaces

  • This role is integral in providing analytics, insights, and project management support for the APAC regional strategy and marketing teams. This role may also be tasked with coordinating APAC regional / country / business unit / functional teams, on an as-needed basis.


Essential Skills / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sciences, Engineering or a related field.
  • Min. 2-4 years experience in strategic planning, consulting or market intelligence within a medical device or pharmaceutical MNC or a healthcare consulting / market research firm.
  • Proficient analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets using a structured approach to problem solving and synthesis of quantitative and qualitative information.
  • Must have proficiency in using Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office tools. Expertise in other data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication, analytical and multi-tasking skills, along with great attention to detail.
