About the Role:

In this role, a comprehensive expertise in all facets of SEO is essential, encompassing on-page optimisation, link acquisition, and content marketing strategies. Additionally, it is imperative to demonstrate proficient communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and collaborate with team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performance Reporting: Provide weekly reports and forecasts renewal amounts and dates for your team’s accounts.
  • Team Motivation: Inspire and guide your team to achieve and surpass both individual and collective targets.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee the team’s work to ensure it meets high-quality standards, manage project timelines effectively, and foster strong client relationships.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct quarterly performance evaluations, offering constructive feedback and pinpointing areas for improvement.
  • Training & Development: Ensure comprehensive training for the team on all company products and services.
  • Objective Setting: Assist team members in defining clear objectives for their pipelines and creating actionable plans to achieve these goals within set deadlines.
  • Problem-Solving: Support team members in identifying potential challenges and developing solutions to address these issues.
  • Onboarding & Training: Oversee the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they gain the necessary technical knowledge and skills.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop performance review presentations and conduct monthly meetings with team members to assess morale, identify gaps, and address areas needing improvement.
  • Client Management: Directly manage client accounts as needed, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service and client satisfaction.
  • Recruitment: Recruit and mentor new hires, guiding them to become effective account managers and valuable team contributors.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in digital marketing agency, including at least 2 years in a leadership role managing a digital marketing team.
  • Strong to advanced understanding of search engine algorithms, technical SEO, and related practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO tools and techniques, with a passion for staying abreast of industry developments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of mentoring and developing team members.
  • Experience in pitching to enterprise clients and presenting complex SEO strategies in a clear and compelling manner.
