Cost Accountant (Oil and Gas)

As the Costing Accountant, you will oversee all aspects of inventory management, costing, and related accounting functions.

Description

• Review and verify inventory-related accounting entries
  
  

Ensure accurate and timely month-end closing for inventory costing in accounting system

Conduct comprehensive inventory reconciliations and analyses

Participate in stock take exercise to ensure accuracy

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on inventory and costing matters

Identify opportunities to improve inventory costing processes for efficiency and accuracy

Profile

• Degree in Accountancy/Business or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience
• Experience in oil and gas industry is preferred
• Proficiency in SAP system and Microsoft Office
• Proficiency in Mandarin as the role is required to liaise with stakeholders in China
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Meticulous and detail-oriented
