Your key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring KYC (Know Your Client) reviews are in line with regulatory standards
  • Act as a Team Lead to run a team of client onboarding SME on behalf of the Head of NCA
  • Act as a checker to review team members’ reviews to ensure Source of Wealth corroboration, review of corporate structures and performance of beneficial ownership drilldown
  • Assessment of money laundering, fraud, reputational risk, and sanctions risk factors on client accounts
  • Perform screening and relevant alert adjudication
  • Handle audit and quality control enquiries
  • Work in partnership with Front Office and Anti Money Laundering colleagues to ensure files are completed in a timely manner and with high quality


Your skills and experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in KYC or AML
  • Familiar with FATCA and CRS requirement
  • Strong leadership skills. Ideally should have led a team or managed people (direct reports)
  • Experience in Source of Wealth (SOW) and KYC review
  • Degree majoring in Banking, Accountancy or Business Administration or related discipline
  • Good stakeholder management skills
  • Strong time management, organizational, planning and follow-up skills
  • Able to multi-task effectively
  • Willing to learn and take on additional challenges
  • Good team player
  • Pro-active and able to work under pressure
  • Good communication skills (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Suites – Word, Excel, PowerPoint


Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirements may apply.
