Our client, a Maritime Shipping Leader, has an opportunity for a Winner to join the Team as a Finance Business Analyst.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the Controller in the preparation of periodic management reports, as well as in forecasting and budgeting, while independently handling the following tasks.
  • Perform regular data quality checks to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of reported operational costs and revenue.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address any discrepancies identified and implement corrective actions.
  • Periodically review and update standard costs to minimize variances with actual figures.
  • Analyze business processes, systems, and data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) of relevant departments to management.
  • Provide ad-hoc reports and analysis as requested by management.
  • Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to extract and transform data for business insights and development.
  • Assist in reconciling management reports with financial statements.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Excellent communication for stakeholder collaboration.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proactive problem-solver with innovative solutions.
  • Able to work independently or in teams in a fast-paced maritime environment.
