Job Description

We are looking for a Key Account Manager, for Target Market - Concrete

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the individual sales budget in revenues are met
  • Ensure the collection of debts is within the Company guidelines
  • Develop good relationship and network with concrete suppliers, pre-casters and contractors
  • Conduct sales visit to service existing and new customers
  • Aggressive market visits to identify and follow up on new projects/ opportunities
  • To monitor competitors’ activities and feedback to the company
  • Attend regular meetings as stipulated by the Sales Management
  • Attend training/workshops as assigned by Management
  • Ensure that products offered to the customers meet the strategy criterion outlined by Management
  • Initiate Customer Complaint Report to ensure that the complaints are promptly and efficiently dealt with
  • Submit monthly report and sales forecast
  • Liaise with technical department to resolve concrete related issues, troubleshooting on site and trial mixes
  • Ad-hoc assignment

Qualifications

Formal Education or equivalent

Diploma in Civil Engineering or Sales & Marketing

Additional Information

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

  • Ability to plan, initiate and close sales.
  • Ability to understand and resolve technical enquiries over the phone
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to manage effectively a busy workload involving more than one project.
  • Good Interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to cohesively work and communicate with all peers.
  • Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel.

Essential: At least 5 to 7 years in a sales and marketing of construction materials

Preferable: Knowledge, and experience in the Construction Engineering Industry & Underground Construction Works.
