In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Lead, mentor and manage a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, encouraging continuous improvement and professional development.

[Project Management]

  • Engineering team provides technical supports and engineering service to greenfield/brownfield bio-refinery projects adopting in-house proprietary bio-refinery technologies.
  • Ensure projects/activities conform with engineering requirements and related contractual and compliance requirements, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure successful project execution.

[Process Improvement]

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and Develop project plans/procedures for effective project management

[Collaboration And Communications]

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and resolve any engineering-related issues.
  • Ability to develop and communicate a compelling vision for the future that aligns with the organization's goals and inspires employees.

[Safety And Compliance]

  • Ownership of safety to maintain high level of awareness to potential hazards and safety risks.
  • Consistently maintain and demonstrate a high regard for personal safety as well as the safety of employees, the general public, and Company assets.

For This Role, You Will Need

  • More than 10 years of engineering management experience (refinery, preferably hydro-processing).
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or mechanical engineering.
  • Experiences managing EPCC/ PMC consultants and EPC contractors.
  • Experience in leading multi-cultural and multi-discipline engineering team.
  • Understanding on related code of standards including API, ASME, NACE etc.
  • Full understanding about process safety and corresponding process safety studies including HAZOP, HAZIP, Fire and Gas Mapping etc.
  • Chartered Chemical Engineer.
  • Strong Project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Good engineering experience in crude oil refinery
  • Language: Mandarin, English as this role will be partnering with stakeholder across APAC frequently.
