Tesseract – NCS Innovation Hub, Singapore

Tesseract plays a critical role in accelerating NCS’s growth strategy, by driving innovation to unlock business value for clients. We are a small but impactful team, which focuses on helping our clients in their innovation journey. The Innovation Hub brings NCS’ technology bets and strong capabilities to life, co-creating with clients, helping them in their Discovery & Design innovation journeys and creating prototypes that allow for agile iteration.

The Innovation Hub Executive reports to the Innovation Hub Manager to perform a variety of Strategy Planning, Research, Project Management, Business Development and Operations roles for the Singapore Innovation Hub. The role requires competency in working with stakeholders across and outside the organisation to achieve the overall strategy and objectives of the Hub, and working in a team to ensure an immersive, engaging and productive experience for clients visiting the Hub both virtually and physically.

What will you do?

  • Execute communications strategies on tech innovation leadership, employer value proposition and sustainability agenda.
  • Support the overall strategy and objective in pushing client conversations from business development into business opportunities for the organisation
  • Support the creation of innovation workshop agenda, that will meet the objectives and intended messages
  • Engage stakeholders in developing relevant Industry Use Cases / Demos (storyboard, wireframe, prototype, development)
  • Engage Innovation Ecosystem Partners (Innovation Network Stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts, Vendors, Businesses, and Startups) to bring interesting and relevant Use Cases / Demos to the Innovation Hub
  • Track and follow up with Pre-Sales conversations with Client Account Leads to establish business objectives and requirements for emerging industry themes and bespoke client workshops/events
  • Coordinate Workshops and Events (virtual/physical/hybrid) from planning, preparation, execution, and post-program reports
  • Ensure the efficient day-to-day running of the Hub
  • Any other duties as determined by line manager
  • Support Research work for specific client workshops, where relevant

Ideally, you should possess:

  • Startup mentality & thinking out of the box to see things in multiple angles, constantly challenge the norm, and arrive at the most effective way to help the team solve problems or prove a value/concept
  • Passionate about Technology and able to identify trends and potential solutions to onboard
  • Comfortable liaising with more senior colleagues
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Software
  • Experience in Workshop and Events management (virtual/physical/hybrid)
  • Comfortable in multitasking, working on a few client workshop planning in parallel
  • High level of attention to details
  • Comfortable in presenting to a large audience
  • Experience in UI/UX and Design Thinking has an added advantage
  • Experience in Video Production and Live Broadcast is a bonus
  • Working knowledge of Video Analytics + Facial Identification and Recognition, Data + AI (Machine Learning and NLP), Predictive Analytics, UAVs & AGVs, Blockchain, Smart Wearables, IoT/Cloud, Mixed Reality, and Touchless Technology has an added advantage

This is a 1-year contract role with the possibility of extension or renewal based on the incumbent's performance and the organization's needs.
