We are looking for a Creative Lead to join our team in Singapore. This is a high-visibility role where you will be the go-to for art direction and design expertise within the team. In this role you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Sunday Bedding’s branding across both digital and offline platforms, and leading product development. We’re looking for someone with a passion and the technical expertise for all things design related. Experience in textile design (home or fashion) is preferred but not a requirement. With your passion and experience, you will be working closely with our co-founders and the marketing team to bring a new set of creative lens to our team.

Responsibilities:

Creative Design:

  • Owning and maintaining our brand guidelines (e.g. colour, iconography, graphics) and ensuring that creative concepts are well-executed
  • Conceptualise and design online and offline collaterals that are aligned with brand visual identity, including but not limited to creative assets, digital marketing ads, e-catalogues, brochures and traditional posters
  • Strategise and design email campaigns and flows using Klaviyo
  • Upkeep and design web pages when it’s required, using Shopify and web builder eg. Shogun
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external marketing team to ideate campaigns and content creation for new product launches
  • Enhance and manage visual merchandising in physical stores and pop-up events; development of visual merchandising guides for retail team to execute in store and at events
  • Enhance and design product packaging for new launches or festive season
  • Update and maintain website imagery and ensuring that the look and feel is aligned to brand guidelines
  • Edit any social media assets (if necessary) produced by our social media team to ensure they are consistent with our brand guidelines

Art Direction:

  • Art direct and style product photoshoot
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external parties to produce images that are aligned with brand identity and campaign’s objectives

Product Development:

  • Develop new products that are aligned with brand values and image,including but not limited to home furnishing, deco or lifestyle products
  • Research and understand trends in the home décor category
  • Conceptualizing print designs and adapting them into home textiles
  • Source and work closely with new and existing production partners in China and Portugal during development phase
  • Explore creative uses of offcuts

Qualifications

  • A creative thinker and good communicator
  • At least 2-3 years of creative or graphic design experience.
  • In-house designer with e-commerce or start-ups background preferred
  • Experience in Shopify and Klaviyo or other similar e-commerce tools and platforms
  • Experience in managing photoshoot preferred
  • Strong visual design fundamentals in layout, typography, and composition
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Motion graphics and video editing skills (Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects) are good to have but not required
  • Basic skills of HTML and CSS
  • A keen eye for details, colours and material
  • Able to work independently and value autonomy
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
  • A portfolio to showcase your work is a must
