We are looking for a Strategic Operations Assistant Manager/ Manager with a specific focus to drive operational excellence and strategic enhancements for sales operations processes to join our dynamic team. This role entails enabling a seamless operational journey for our clients and achieving operational performance and efficiency across our processes.

Role and responsibilities

  • Initiate, set up, manage and execute strategic operational improvement/ change projects to achieve operational excellence and sales performance results
  • Own and evolve end-to-end operating processes to ensure optimal and efficient workflows across all internal operational functions, including contracting, inventory management, customer onboarding, order fulfilment, billing
  • Monitor end-to-end operating processes to ensure achievement of operational performance KPIs throughout the operational customer journey
  • Dashboarding and reporting for sales planning or operations meetings to achieve cross-functional alignment for revenue and margin performance
  • Work with commercial and operations teams to ensure seamless customer experience and customer satisfaction, and that customer orders are fulfilled in a timely and accurate manner

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field with 5-6 years of work experience
  • Experience in Sales Planning and Operations management in ecommerce or platform businesses. Experience in the Renewable Energy Certificates or Carbon Management sectors would be an added advantage.
  • Experience in setting up, managing and rolling out enterprise-level change projects with the ability to manage and prioritize across multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence across the organisation to achieve results
  • Experience in change management (e.g. Prosci certification) highly preferred
  • Experience with sales software and data analytics tools e.g. CRM, PowerBI
  • Self-motivated team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
