What we're looking for

We are looking for a dynamic Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Associate with an interest or better still, a passion for luxury watches and Chinese culture and craftsmanship. The ideal candidate will be a highly structured thinker with both digital marketing and e-commerce experience. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to Atelier Wen’s growth and global presence by creating and executing compelling marketing strategies. For this, we need someone who shows initiative and creativity in developing new strategies and thrives in a small, elite team where each member commands a high level of leverage and handles a wide scope of responsibilities autonomously.

Responsibilities

Strategy and Planning

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop comprehensive strategies that enhance brand awareness and drive sales.

• Develop and manage the marketing calendar to ensure consistent and timely delivery of marketing materials.

E-Commerce Management

• Manage our e-commerce backend operations (e.g. set up SKUs, coordinate campaigns etc.).

• Assist in optimising our e-commerce through the integration of new tools, plugins or payment solutions.

Coordination with Agencies

• Work with web development, SEO, CRO, and other agencies to optimise marketing efforts. Collaborate with them to ensure brand consistency and maximize campaign effectiveness.

Customer Relationship Management

• Manage CRM systems to enhance customer engagement and loyalty. Come up with targeted initiatives to achieve specific customer-related objectives.

• Set up and execute customer engagement campaigns across social, chat, email and other relevant channels

• Help manage the brand’s WhatsApp communities, coming up with initiatives to foster engagement amongst members.

Event Planning and Execution

• With the help of the Content team, plan, organise, and execute both internal and external events

• Develop communication strategies to promote events and engage with attendees.

Media & Influencer Relations

• Coordinate relationships with media contacts to secure coverage in relevant publications.

• Constantly source and secure new coverage opportunities.

• Work closely with the content team to ensure timely and accurate communication with the media.

• Source and secure new influencers to collaborate with.

Digital Ads Operations

• Provide hands-on support in the execution and optimization of digital advertising campaigns under the direction of the Head of Digital Growth.

• Assist in monitoring and analysing ad performance to ensure maximum ROI.

• Execute ad-hoc ads operation tasks as needed

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

• 1-2 years of digital marketing & e-commerce experience, preferably within the luxury industry or a fast-paced startup environment.

• Native-level English proficiency.

• Genuine passion for and deep understanding of watches.

• Excellent organisational skills and a deeply structured mindset. High attention to details with a strong focus on quality and precision.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. An open, cheerful and proactive mindset will be necessary to engage with customers, press and influencers effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO/SEM, Meta Ads, CRO methodology, etc.).

• Genuine passion for and deep understanding of watches.

• Strong appreciation for Chinese culture and craftsmanship.

• Mandarin proficiency.

• French proficiency.

• Singapore (preferred)

• Paris and Shanghai also 2nd priorities
