M&A Paralegal
Our client is a premier financial institution with extensive experience of industry leadership, and a strong global footprint.
This is a newly created role as a result of expansion across APAC. As an M&A Paralegal, you'll support in various legal matters including reviewing documents, ensuring due diligence and facilitating deals, working with business stakeholders and be a part of a strong global team.
Key Roles & Responsibilities of M&A Paralegal:
- Contract Review: Review and draft legal documents, agreements, and contracts related to M&A activities.
- Risk Assessment: Assess legal risks associated with M&A transactions and propose risk mitigation strategies.
- Regulatory Liaison: Interface with regulatory authorities and maintain awareness of regulatory changes affecting M&A activities.
- Due Diligence: Lead due diligence efforts to evaluate potential risks and opportunities in M&A deals.
- Legal Research: Conduct legal research to support M&A decision-making and strategies.
- Support in other ad hoc legal and secretarial work
Qualifications and Requirements of M&A Paralegal:
- Prior experience at M&A/Corporate team at a Law firm or in-house doing similar scope
- Any added language skills is highly advantageous.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
