Position Description Summary: Responsible for daily management of customer service and operations activities for Air department at a branch. Principal Accountabilities (The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. It is not an exhaustive list of all expectations.):

  • Manage all air service and operations activities at a branch level as it relates to booking and movement of shipments, documentation
  • Responsible for all branch related financial SOP’s
  • Responsible for all branch related operational SOP’s
  • Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of air bills of loading and related documents
  • Research and resolve customer problems and complaints on service issues
  • Coordinate ameta/agent reconciliation related to the freight forwarding function
  • Maintain credit agreements with all vendors
  • Participate in determination of pricing elements
  • Develop management reports
  • Ensure a safe working environment through consistent practice of safety programs and procedures
  • Select and place staff, ensure staff receives training for job activities, and define specific job assignments. Manage performance to ensure required levels of productivity and achievement of organizational objectives The individual in this position must be capable of performing all of the essential functions with or without a reasonable accommodation.Knowledge and Skills (The following minimum requirements are normal guidelines and should not constrain the advancement of otherwise qualified personnel): This is a management position. Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills required. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. Generally prefer 3-5 years of related supervisory or management experience.
