Business Analyst - Compliance (KYC, Client Due Diligence)

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Leads to gather and document requirements from business stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs).
• Lead discussions, propose solutions that align with business needs, and explain how the proposed solution addresses these requirements, whether through technical implementation or operational changes.
• Prepare and refine User Stories or Functional Specification Documents (FSD), ensuring clear documentation of IT solutions, along with the delivery of a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) and Acceptance Criteria.
• Validate proposed IT solutions with technical and architecture teams, ensuring that the specifications are understood by the delivery team.
• Work closely with the Project Manager/Scrum Master, Delivery Manager, Technical Lead, Developers, and Architecture teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions through IT implementations.
• Provide ongoing support to the delivery team during the execution phase, clarifying any queries related to the FSD, BRD, or User Stories. When necessary, re-engage with business SMEs to revise requirements or propose alternative solutions due to design or implementation constraints.
• Serve as the Quality Assurance lead by defining the test strategy and approach, and addressing queries during the testing phase.
• Review and/or provide test artifacts such as test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Assist in triaging defects, categorizing their criticality, and prioritizing fixes as necessary.
• Develop training materials, user manuals, and deliver user training sessions before system launch. Provide close support to users to ensure successful system adoption.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and supporting technology teams to develop business solutions and prepare submissions for sponsor approval. This includes budget estimations, resource requirements, and RFP preparations and evaluations.
• Produce project proposals for senior stakeholders, securing endorsement and funding for project execution.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage and align expectations of senior business stakeholders across various business units.
• Proficiency in visual modeling and documentation of user stories, use cases, business processes, data transformation logic, and user interfaces.
• Experience in data modeling, with a strong understanding of system engineering concepts, data structures, and database design.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt and respond quickly to changing business needs.
• Strong delivery mindset with experience in iterative analysis, design, and various delivery methodologies (Agile, SDLC).

Domain expertise in at least one of the following areas:

• Client lifecycle management (onboarding, maintenance)
• Client due diligence (KYC) compliance, FATCA, or CRS reporting
