Your Role
Reporting into the Asia editorial Director, you will be an important member of the OPIS Asia Spots team, engaging with partners in the APAC region's recycled plastics sector for price discovery, and to explore trends and opportunities, while producing price assessments, analytics and news for daily publication.

Your Role
Reporting into the Asia editorial Director, you will be an important member of the OPIS Asia Spots team, engaging with partners in the APAC region's recycled plastics sector for price discovery, and to explore trends and opportunities, while producing price assessments, analytics and news for daily publication.
Main Responsibilities Include
- Partner engagement to identify recycled plastics pricing in Asia.
- Use OPIS pricing methodology to publish daily recycled plastics price assessments.
- Support OPIS recycled plastics analysis by gathering and information across multiple industry databases.
- Create stories for news service and longer, more analytical content focusing on industry trends and related developments
- Represent OPIS at industry events. (Travel is expected)
- Undergraduate degree, ideally with at 5 years of working experience
- Networking skills for partner engagement and to identify recycled plastics pricing
- Good numerical and writing skills
- Passion to track and cover the ongoing energy transition; experience writing about or working in the recycled plastics or plastics industry would be helpful but not essential
- Ability to speak another Asian language or experience of recycled plastics/ Petrochemicals would be helpful but not essential
