Adecco is partnering with a German Travel Retail client with a global presence worldwide, and we are seeking a talented individual to join their business as a Senior Logistics Manager based at their Singapore HQ! Reporting directly to the Head of Department, the successful incumbent will lead a team of 5 and contribute to enhancing and refining existing practices, systems, and procedures within the logistics function, ensuring alignment with the company's standards and best practices. Additionally, you will provide timely support to the Retail Operations Team to meet customer expectations.

The Job

  • Drive key initiatives to streamline warehouse operations, reduce costs, and enhance quality across the region by working closely with stakeholders to implement effective warehouse management solutions.
  • Lead efforts to design, develop, and optimize the APAC logistics network, focusing on improving efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and reliability in route-to-market strategies.
  • Build and strengthen APAC logistics frameworks, governance, and operational capabilities, promoting a customer-first approach and establishing KPIs at both regional and local levels to maintain high standards of operational excellence.
  • Develop and roll out operational processes, SOPs, and performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement and maximize productivity.
  • Oversee the logistics P&L, contributing to tender processes and ensuring fiscal responsibility and profitability.
  • Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving continuous improvements in service and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate broader logistics strategies into practical, actionable plans.
  • Promote a culture of ongoing development, encouraging personal and professional growth through mentorship and skills development.

The Talent

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, goods flow, compliance for luxury products, and a solid grasp of customs regulations, including bonded warehouse structures.
  • Hands-on experience with MS Office, SAP, and other logistics and warehouse management systems.
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on achieving results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proven experience in logistics management with a demonstrated ability to effectively mentor and lead team members.
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively and present statistical data and insights to top management, ensuring clear understanding and informed decision-making.
