Reporting to the Senior Director, Group Strategic Projects, this role will require the candidate to deliver high quality industry analysis, review operational and financial performance of Singtel Group and peers, and independently develop strategic insights to drive one of the team’s top-priorities – transformation and growth.

Make An Impact By

  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify and articulate key industry trends and disruptions; develop financial models & analyses to substantiate insights.
  • Maintain an “outside-in” view of the Group’s financial and share-price performance, including but not limited to understanding Singtel’s growth plans and key business drivers, keeping abreast of key deals / transactions and tracking analyst reports.
  • Independently formulate project analysis and execution plan, which aligns with BU and / or Group mid-long-term objectives.
  • Autonomously interact with mid to high level Stakeholders to validate assumptions, findings, and present conclusions to ensure buy-in and alignment.
  • Guide junior team members to run strategic projects including gathering, verifying and analysing information and independently formulating views.

Skills For Success

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • About 3-6 years of related business planning, consulting, strategy or business transformation experience.
  • Business Analytics and Insights (use of Bloomberg / Cap IQ / other relevant databases).
  • Business Strategy planning and execution.
  • Financial Modelling and Analysis.
  • Flexible, ability to perform in unstructured or ambiguous situations, and adapt as business evolves.
  • Must have a strong ability to multitask and work at a fast pace to adapt to the latest changes in business conditions.
  • Strong and clear communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with initiative to execute, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, often with demanding timelines.
