What will you do?

Through this internship, you will be exposed to the Optimisation of Distillation column efficiency study and waste water treatment plant.

Some aspects you will be support includes:


  • Continuous improvement project for operating cost reduction
  • Evaluate improvements on gas stripping and heating systems
  • Be empowered to be part of Chemical Engineer's responsibility, propose improvements to ensure a synchronized maximal throughput


You will also support the site exit validation project, which is a rare opportunity to be immersed in the activities required for site closure. You will get to work on validation, data disposition and documentation archival.

What will you learn?


  • Monitoring of Distillation Column critical processing parameters using heat and mass balance; Involvement in troubleshooting, continuous improvement projects and investigations
  • Attain understanding of cGMP and EHS requirements in pharmaceutical and chemical industries and other technical aspects in this field
  • Optimization of Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) for pharmaceutical waste water treatment
  • Plant decontamination and decommissioning experience
