The Role

The successful candidate will spearhead the development and implementation of a strategic plan to establish and grow of the travel agency operations, build and nurture relationships with corporate clients, travel partners and suppliers.

Overseeing daily operations, you'll ensure efficient and effective service delivery, exceeding customer expectations.

Financial acumen is a must, as you'll develop and manage the travel agency budget, including setting revenue targets and implementing cost-control measures. Additionally, you'll lead and motivate a team of travel professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and customer satisfaction.

Staying ahead of the curve is key. You'll actively research industry trends and developments, recommending improvements and innovative strategies for the travel agency. To foster seamless integration, you'll collaborate with other departments within the organization.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

  • Education background/Degree in Business, Hospitality Management or Tourism or a relevant field.
  • Minimum 8 years of travel industry experience with a focus on both corporate and leisure travel operations.
  • Proven track record in launching and managing travel agencies, ideally within the hospitality and tourism sector.
  • Relevant experience in building relationship and partnerships with travel suppliers, corporate clients and industry travel partners.
  • Experienced in creating and managing the travel agency budget, setting revenue goals, implementing strategies to control costs.
  • Deep understanding of travel industry regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Strong leadership and management skills that inspire and motivate a team.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong client and partner relationships.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective business plans.
  • Solid financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial management.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of adaptability and resilience.
