As a Lecturer in Power Engineering, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Involvement in developing curriculum, facilitating student learning, conducting assessment and performing tasks for modules related to Electrical Engineering, specifically on electrical power systems and sustainable energy technologies.
- Spearhead and identify new opportunities and collaboration with industry.
- Work on industry or consultancy project to stay relevant in your profession.
- Support student development in the area of education.
Pre-requisites:
- Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience in the areas of electrical power systems and sustainable energy technologies or related.
- Passionate about education and possess strong interest in nurturing, teaching, mentoring and interacting with students.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-driven, independent and possess readiness to work as a team.
