We work with some of the largest organisations in the world on a variety of transformation engagements, working closely with the C-Suite in shaping and delivering. Capgemini Invent is growing and is seeking to hire a Senior Consultant for the Consumer Products and Retail industry team, your experience in driving excellent Customer Experiences and Marketing strategies will help create new project opportunities working with client Sales and Marketing teams.

What you’ll do:

  • Developing new propositions that enable clients to meet future challenges which further develop the companies’ vision to become a strategic partner/ advisor to the client.
  • Helping retailers identify their customer experiences and marketing objectives through stakeholder interviews, market scans, analysing company performance and customer feedback.
  • Developing multi-channel transformation strategies and plans that combine established and digitalised channels for retailers’ offline and online customer experiences, supporting clients to facilitate customer satisfaction and retention, growing sales, and driving profitable growth.
  • Developing transformation plans to enable seamless customer experience, social integration and personalization considering all e-commerce journeys.
  • Supporting clients in defining, developing, and delivering their strategy through all stages of implementation, including developing business cases and roadmaps for transformation.

What you’ll bring:

You will have excellent experience in delivering in the Consumer Product and Retail consulting sector with a core capability in one or more areas across the retail value chain. You have a natural curiosity and desire to be ahead of the curve as you continue to develop your expertise and knowledge of the digital journey of our clients and a natural ambition to continually learn and develop your own skills in the space.

We need a combination of digital strategy and delivery experience combined by a passion for solving complex problems as part of a results-driven, supportive team. We expect an entrepreneurial flair and a willingness to take calculated risks, alongside a keen appetite to develop new skills. In addition you’ll have the following:

  • Strong management consulting experience with proven delivery success
  • Excellent understanding of the consumer product and retail industry trends, preferably with at least on area of specialism in one of our core growth areas:
  • 1) Luxury & Beauty retail
  • 2) Customer Experience in an omnichannel environment
  • 3) Analysing and deploying new Marketing strategies for our clients
  • 4) Leveraging data to drive hyper-personalisation for our clients
  • Build sustainable relationships with clients and develop new business opportunities
  • Experience in delivering business and digital transformation projects
  • Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English or Mandarin is plus.
