My client is seeking a Sales Manager for their Network Infrastructure Business, with a primary focus on the Financial Services Industry (FSI) and Manufacturing opportunities in Singapore. This role is responsible for building and expanding relationships with strategically important FSI and Manufacturing customers. The Sales Manager will be assigned to one or more accounts and will be responsible for achieving sales targets, pipeline management, relationship management, and strategic account planning while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The Sales manager is also responsible for business development activities and task with bringing in new accounts for the business.

Job Description

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the FSI and Manufacturing sectors. Develop strategies to expand market presence and drive growth in these key areas.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key FSI and Manufacturing customers. Serve as the main point of contact for issue resolution and foster trust and long-term partnerships.
  • Sales Performance: Meet and exceed sales targets and growth objectives. Take responsibility for achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals across assigned accounts and product lines.
  • Account Strategy: Create and implement comprehensive account plans. Establish executive relationship strategies, prioritize opportunities, and set targets for customer projects. Develop recovery plans for potential shortfalls.
  • Customer Understanding: Gain in-depth knowledge of customers' business strategies, purchasing behaviors, and organizational structures. Provide strategic insights to help customers navigate their options and make informed decisions.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed about market trends, dynamics, and competitive activities. Develop and implement response strategies in accordance with my client's ethics and compliance guidelines.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with Data Center Builders, System Integrators, and System Installers to deliver tailored solutions. Build effective ecosystems to enhance customer preference for my client's products.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales data in relevant systems. Handle pipeline management, expense reporting, and respond to ad-hoc marketing requests efficiently.


The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in FSI & Manufacturing, Network Infrastructure for FSI & Manufacturing, Sales, and/or Marketing.
  • Extensive knowledge of FSI & Manufacturing Service Provider / On-premise FSI & Manufacturing Network Infrastructure Technology.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, relationship management qualities, and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to develop sales strategies, provide insight to customers by navigating options and alternatives, and coordinate activities involving multiple functions across a variety of businesses.
